Portugal will return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2027 and 2028.
The high-speed races will be held at the 4.6-kilometer "Portimão" circuit, located in the south of the country.
The Iberian country last hosted Formula 1 races in 2020 and 2021.
It was in Portugal that Lewis Hamilton broke Michael Schumacher's all-time record for victories, after securing his 92nd victory 4 years ago. The Briton also remains the only driver on the current grid to have won at this track.
