No one can stop Inter: seventh consecutive victory in football - 1

With goals from the reserves Henrik Mkhitaryan and Manuel Akanji, the Inter team beat Lecce hard 2-0 as a guest and took another step towards the title in Italy, BTA reported.

Mkhitaryan and Akanji came on as a double substitution in the 60th minute and this move by coach Christian Chivu turned out to be a winning one. In the 75th minute, Mkhitaryan found himself uncovered in the penalty area and sent the ball into the net from the move. Seven minutes later, Akanji headed in a second goal for Inter after a cross from Federico Dimarco.

Inter dominated the entire match, but lapses in attack prevented the team from closing the match out earlier.

The success in Lecce is Inter's seventh consecutive in Serie A and extends their lead at the top to ten points over second-placed Milan, who have a game in hand and host Parma tomorrow. Lecce are in 17th place with 24 points, three above the relegation zone.

Earlier today, Juventus lost 0-2 at home to Como in a match from the 26th round of the Italian championship. Mergim Voivoda gave Como the lead in the first half, and Maxence Kakere doubled the score after an excellent counterattack by the visitors in the 61st minute.

Juventus played with a new kit with horizontal stripes and red numbers on the players' backs, but even this did not bring luck to the team, which is on a five-match winless streak in all competitions, of which four were lost and one was drawn. The Turin giants are fifth in the Serie A standings with 46 points, while Como are closely behind them - in sixth position, one point less.
