The Yambol basketball team removed three of its foreign players from the team, the club announced on social networks. "For a gross violation of the club's disciplinary rules, the management of BC Tunja Yambol suspended Kevin Hunt, Markedric Bell and Peter Keys from the team. After their behavior contrary to the club regulations, the three were imposed a financial sanction and subsequently a decision was made to remove them. The management of the club will not tolerate such acts of violation of public order," the club also wrote.
"We apologize to our supporters and citizens of Yambol for the behavior of our former competitors, which has nothing to do with generally accepted social norms. Yambol will continue the championship with only Bulgarian players – six on professional contracts and five juniors. The goal of ranking the first two places in the second six and participation in the playoffs remains," concludes the management's announcement.
