Striker Seru Gerasi announced that he is leaving Stuttgart, BTA reported.
The goal scorer signed a four-year contract with Borussia Dortmund, according to German media, the transfer fee is 15 million euros.
The 28-year-old has had an extremely strong season in the Bundesliga. He scored an impressive 30 goals in 30 games. The Guyana international set a club record for most goals scored by a single player in a season.
The offensive footballer published an emotional letter on social networks, in which he said goodbye to Stuttgart fans.
"I am writing to you extremely excited. My decision to leave Stuttgart is one of the most difficult in my life. You will always have a special place in my heart. You have welcomed me with warmth and your passion has always motivated me to perform better on the field. I will follow every Stuttgart game and I hope we meet again," he said.
