Dimitrov, who is fighting for a place at the ATP Finals in Turin, started directly from the second round as he was seeded at #8 in the main draw. The 40th-ranked Argentine in the world secured a meeting with him after a 6:3, 7:6(6) victory over Zhizhen Zhang from China, sportal.bg recalled
The 25-year-old Echeveri, who occupies 40th place in the world ranking, was an unknown opponent for Grigor. He plays with his right hand and performs a backhand with two hands. He has been a professional since 2017, has not won any ATP Tour titles.
