The coach of the men's national basketball team, Rosen Barchovski, called on the fans to support our team in the upcoming important match with Montenegro in Botevgrad from the qualifiers for EuroBasket 2025, BTA reports.
"Without the hall being full, enthusiastic and exalted, it will be very difficult, so I urge them to come and support us. This is the Bulgarian national team," said Barchovski at today's open training session.
"There are some things we will correct, tactically they can't be much, but that also applies to the opponent. We have to do our best to make the new things we score work for us, but most of it is psychology, said the coach about the match.
He also explained how the absence of Cody Miller-McIntyre, who was not cleared by his club team Red Star to play in the match, will be affected.
"I spoke with Cody, and Filip Videnov spoke with their management. Their decision is categorical. It has to do with the fact that they consider him a very important player and his absence will upset their preparation, he might get injured. We have to make up for it. It can be seen with the naked eye that a lot is missing, but there is nothing to be done," added Barchovski.
The match between Bulgaria and Montenegro is on November 25 (Monday) at 19:00 at the "Arena Botevgrad".
