Stoyan Kolev will train the goalkeepers of Hebar (Pazardzhik), which was relegated to the Second League, BTA reports. The former CSKA goalkeeper began his coaching career 12 years ago with the "red", after which he went through Loko (Pd), Vereya (Stara Zagora) and Arda (Kardzhali).
Last, Kolev worked for CSKA-Sofia, where he was the goalkeeper coach between 2021 and 2025. He was dismissed along with the entire coaching staff, headed by Alexander Tomas, after the defeat against Arda in the Conference League play-off.
"FC Hebar welcomes Stoyan Kolev, who is the new goalkeeper coach in the men's representative team," the club wrote.
Kolev is a champion of Bulgaria, winner of the national cup with CSKA and the super cup with Loko (Pd). He is a former Bulgarian national team with 16 matches for the country's representative team. Hebar will start the Second League championship on the weekend of July 26-27 with a match against Sevlievo as an away team.
