CSKA coach Dusan Kerkez will almost certainly not be able to rely on the new additions Pastor and Kevin Doday for the team's next match - Saturday's home match against Spartak Varna, Topsport reported, citing "Tema Sport".

"The"Red" administration is doing everything possible to arrange work visas for the two players by the end of the working week, but given that they are from countries outside the European Union, this is unlikely to happen.

The Brazilian and the Albanian are expected to hold their first training session with their new teammates today, "Tema Sport" writes. The "army men" training session at the Pancharevo base is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tomorrow, Dusan Kerkez's students will train from the same starting time, and the first 15 minutes will be open to media representatives.

Pastor and Doday will probably be in line for the away game against Loko Pd next Saturday. The Brazilian has fallen behind in his preparations and will need more time to get in shape, while the Albanian is in good playing rhythm.

Winger Kevin Doday became the second Albanian in CSKA's history, and his predecessor Altin Hadzi gave his opinion on the transfer.

The #1 foreigner in the "A" group and champion of Bulgaria for the 1998/99 season lives in our country, but he continues to have enough contacts in Albanian football.

"According to the information I have, Doday is a good footballer. He hasn't developed his full potential yet, but in Vlazna he has shown that he has great qualities. I don't know him personally, I don't have any observations on his performances, but I've been told a lot of good things about him. A sharp footballer, with an eye for the game. Whether he will be able to develop in CSKA is another matter. But the people I've spoken to are confident in his qualities", Hadji told "Tema Sport".

"Kevin has always played with the bigger teams since he was a child. He also made his debut in men's football early on, so he's used to adapting to more difficult conditions. It's possible that he'll need a little time to get used to football in Bulgaria at first. But I don't think it's that different from the one in Albania, so he shouldn't need too much patience to show his best side. And yet we know that CSKA fans have high demands and are not the most patient," said the former defender of the "red" and Litex.

Hadzi has 67 matches and 3 goals for the Albanian national team. In addition to his homeland and Bulgaria, he has played for several Greek clubs and the Cypriot APOEL Nicosia. In 2020, the former defender was appointed to the position of head of the CSKA academy.

Doday has signed a contract with CSKA for 4 seasons. As is known, the "army" are paying a transfer fee of 400,000 euros for his rights, and when the various bonuses are fulfilled, it can reach 450,000 euros.

Vlaznia also retains a percentage of the 19-year-old winger's future transfer.

Doday will wear number 22 at CSKA. We recall that last season he belonged to the transfer offspring Jason Lokilo, who replaced him with 77 in the summer. The Albanian also played with 22 in his previous club Vlaznia.

"I am very happy to be part of the biggest club in Bulgaria. I hope that I will bring joy to the fans and that together we will show how strong we are. I am waiting for you at the stadium", Doday told the club media minutes after he was officially introduced.

"Hello, CSKA fans. I am David Pastor. We are already together and I believe that we will win many things. Only CSKA", shared a few hours later the second addition to the "army" team yesterday, writes "Tema Sport".
