We recall that Buffy is the name of the dog of Russian President Vladimir Putin, given to him by Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov. This happened during Putin's visit to Sofia on November 13, 2010.
The dog is a Bulgarian shepherd breed. It was born in August 2010 and was named Yorgo at birth.
