Ukraine used "Flamingo" cruise missiles during an attack on an FSB base in Crimea, Welt reports, quoted by Focus.
Three missiles were used by Ukraine during an attack on a Russian internal intelligence (FSB) base in the northern part of the occupied Crimea.
According to rocket technology expert Fabian Hofmann from the University of Oslo, only two of them reached their target.
He believes that one of the missiles fell approximately 100 meters from the intended target.
"At first glance, this does not seem like a very good result. But considering that the strikes left craters up to fifteen meters in diameter, it becomes clear: the lack of accuracy is compensated by enormous power,“ the publication writes.
Journalists believe that the “Flamingo“ missiles and other long-range weapons of Ukraine can push the Russian Federation to a compromise. If Russia does not meet the demands, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to attack not only energy facilities, but also weapons and ammunition factories.
