North Korean leader Kim Jong-un may meet with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which will be held in South Korea later this month. The potential venue for the talks is the border village of Panmunjom, South Korean Unification Minister Chung Dong-yang said, Yonhap reported, citing Focus.
The minister hinted at the possibility during a parliamentary session, answering a question from lawmakers.
“Analyzing available public information and data, both the American and North Korean leaders appear ready for talks“, he said, adding that Kim's statements about “his good memories“ for Trump, they show his readiness for a meeting.
