The Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Hristijan Mickoski will lead a government delegation to the Western Balkans summit, which begins today in London, the government press service in Skopje announced, BTA reports.
The event is being held within the framework of the Berlin Process initiative, aimed at strengthening political, economic and infrastructure cooperation between the countries of the region and supporting their rapprochement with the European Union.
The delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska and Minister for European Affairs Orhan Murtezani, who will participate in a number of meetings within the framework of the Berlin Process. process.
“During its visit to the UK, the government delegation will hold several working economic meetings, which will represent a step forward for mutual cooperation. On the sidelines of the summit, the Prime Minister has also planned a number of bilateral meetings“, the statement said.
The Berlin Process was launched in 2014 at the initiative of the then German Chancellor Angela Merkel, with the aim of strengthening ties between the countries of the Western Balkans and supporting their European integration.
