Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to arrive in Athens for a one-day visit on Sunday, the online edition of the “Kathimerini“ newspaper reports, citing government sources, BTA reports.
The route of the visit remains unspecified for security reasons, with his arrival scheduled for around midday.
Zelensky will meet with Greek President Konstantinos Thassoulas at the presidential palace, after which he will talk with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the “Maximos“ government residence. A meeting with Parliament Speaker Nikitas Kaklamanis is also scheduled for later that day.
This will be Zelensky's second visit to Greece after his first trip in the summer of 2023, when he met with then-President Katerina Sakellaropoulou and Prime Minister Mitsotakis.
