Polish President Karol Nawrocki is arriving today on an official visit to the Czech Republic, the Czech news agency ČTK reported, BTA reports.
In Prague, Nawrocki will hold a meeting with Czech President Petr Pavel. The two presidents are expected to discuss Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as the development of cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the European Union and NATO. This is Nawrocki's first visit to the Czech Republic since taking office.
The Polish PAP agency earlier reported that Nawrocki will also meet with the leader of the "Action of Dissatisfied Citizens" movement, winner of this year's parliamentary elections, and likely future prime minister of the Czech Republic - Andrej Babis.
The Office of the Czech President emphasized that in recent years, relations between Poland and the Czech Republic have been characterized by stability and continuity. The two countries work together in a number of areas, including in the preparation of Ukrainian military personnel, who undergo training on Polish territory under the guidance of Czech military instructors.
