Russian drones and missiles attacked areas of the Ukrainian capital Kiev early Saturday, with six people reportedly injured. This was reported by "Reuters", citing officials.

Explosions were heard and debris from drones fell.

The head of the Kiev military administration, Timur Tkachenko, said there were strikes in six places, hitting residential buildings.

Tkachenko said six people were injured, including a child and one person in hospital in serious condition.

Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said a strike had caused a fire in the lower floors of a high-rise apartment building west of the city centre. Another fire broke out and was quickly brought under control in a central area.

Tkachenko said another fire had broken out in an apartment building in an area on the east bank of the Dnieper River, but gave no further details.

Earlier last night, a Russian attack was reported in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The Russian army is attacking the Nikopol and Sinelnikove districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones, artillery and guided bombs. Two people have been killed and two others injured.

Vladislav Khaivanenko, acting head of the regional military administration, said this on Facebook, as quoted by "Ukrinform".

He said that the enemy hit the village of Vasylkiv in the Sinelnikove district with drones, while the village of Pokrovskoe was hit with guided bombs (GABs).

"A 37-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman were killed. Sincere condolences to their families and loved ones. Two others were injured," Khaivanenko stressed.

He added that a private house was destroyed and five others were damaged. A high school caught fire.

In the Nikopol sector, the Russian army used artillery and FPV drones. The regional center, as well as the villages of Pokrovskoye, Mirovo, and Marganets, were targeted.

On the morning of November 28, a woman was injured in the village of Slavyanka in the Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of Russian strikes.
