The official election campaign in Hungary begins tomorrow, when potential candidates for deputies will begin collecting signatures in their constituencies, announced the leader of the opposition party TISA Peter Magyar, quoted by the MTI agency, BTA reported.
He said that the country faces “50 difficult, tiring and exhausting days“, but at the same time described them as “inspiring, wonderful and historic days”, in which it can be shown that if united, citizens are capable of bringing about the necessary change.
In a post on social networks, Magyar called on his activists to “knock on every door” and engage voters even in the most difficult moments of the campaign.
He stressed that the party would not rely on "giant billboards, pseudo-citizen groups or disinformation generated by artificial intelligence", but instead would rely on "patriotism and determination to fight for Hungary".
The collection of signatures will begin tomorrow in all 106 electoral districts, with Magyar saying that he would personally participate in the initiative and that "every minute, every conversation, every signature and every voluntary work will be doubly valued".
