The US is closing three of its diplomatic missions in the Middle East. The decision was made after the frequent drone attacks on American bases and embassies, NBC reported.
Employees in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Beirut will be evacuated urgently, and all American citizens in the area have been told to leave immediately, "Focus" specified.
A fire broke out near the US consulate in Dubai after a drone fell near it. Firefighting teams were immediately sent to control the fire.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that the drone fell in a parking lot of a building adjacent to the consulate. No one was injured in the incident.
