Belgorod and the Belgorod region were subjected to massive missile attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces.
The energy infrastructure was seriously damaged, and power, water and heating outages were also reported. There were no casualties, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on the Max platform.

Ukrainian militants have been shelling the border areas almost daily. Since August 2024, an anti-terrorist operation has been in force in the Belgorod region, and the situation there has been declared a state of emergency at the federal level.
