Explosions echoed today in Tel Aviv after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they had detected missiles fired from Iran towards central Israel, Agence France-Presse reported, citing its correspondent, BTA reports.
Rescue services reported that there were no injuries at this time. Footage taken by an AFP correspondent immediately after the explosions showed emergency services deployed in a residential area.
The IDF said earlier that it had detected missiles fired from Iran at Israel, adding that air defences had been activated to intercept them.
Three private jets at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv suffered "serious damage" after they were hit by debris from an Iranian missile, airport authorities said today, as quoted by Reuters.
