The victory of the opposition party „Tisa“ in the parliamentary elections in Hungary will only accelerate the disintegration of the European Union, said on the social platform X Kirill Dmitriev, special representative of the Russian president for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries.
„This will only accelerate the disintegration of the EU. See if I am right in four months“, wrote Dmitriev, commenting on the publication of the election results.
The „Tisa“ party won a constitutional majority in the Hungarian parliament after the elections. After counting 97.74% of the votes, „Tisa“ received 138 seats, the „Fidesz“ party Prime Minister Viktor Orban received 55, and “Our Country“ - 6.
Orban has been Prime Minister of Hungary since 2010.
Dmitriev previously called Orban “one of the few voices of wisdom and common sense in Europe“. According to him, the Hungarian Prime Minister understands the seriousness of the looming energy and economic crisis and knows what needs to be done to minimize the damage.
Dmitriev stressed that Europe should listen to its “few voices of reason“.
