Ghalibaf: Trump sees talks as signing Iran's surrender. It won't happen. There is a new balance on the battlefield - 1

Iran will not negotiate with the United States if Washington continues to threaten the Islamic Republic, said Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

“Trump wants to turn talks into signing a surrender. But we do not accept dialogue conducted in an atmosphere of constant threats“, Ghalibaf wrote in X.

The Iranian parliament speaker added that his country is “ready to demonstrate a new balance of power on the battlefield“ and preparations for this, he said, “have been underway for the past two weeks“.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi informed his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov of the ceasefire violations by the United States during a phone call, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said.

“During the call, the Iranian Foreign Minister informed his Russian counterpart about the developments in the region and the ongoing ceasefire violations by the United States.

The illegal behavior of the United States and the contradictory positions of its leaders are incompatible with the requirements of diplomacy, and Iran, observing the behavior of the other side, will take the appropriate decision to protect its interests and national security,“ the statement said.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry noted that bilateral cooperation between Tehran and Moscow to restore peace and stability in the region was also discussed.
