Three people were killed and many others injured in Russian strikes on four regions in Ukraine, world agencies reported, referring to local authorities, BTA writes.
The governor of the Kherson region announced, quoted by France Presse, that a 61-year-old woman died in her home during a drone attack on the village of Mihailovka, located on the right bank of the Dnieper River, along which the front line in this southern Ukrainian region.
The Mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov wrote in "Telegram" for a Russian attack on a residential area in the city, in which one person was killed and 12 were injured, including four children, Reuters reported.
"Several five-story buildings were significantly damaged. The building of the Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance was also damaged," Terekhov added.
Kharkov Oblast, which includes the city of the same name - the second largest in Ukraine, borders Russia and is under almost daily shelling by the Russian army, according to AFP.
At least six people were injured in a Russian missile attack on the city of Nikolaev, the head of the regional military administration, Vitaly Kim, reported, as quoted by the Ukrinform agency.
"We have information about six victims, one of whom is seriously injured," Kim wrote in "Telegram".
Ukrinform reported an explosion in the city of Nikolaev, caused by preliminary information from a ballistic missile attack.
In turn, the head of the military administration of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Serhii Lisak, announced that a 55-year-old man was killed in Russian shelling of the city of Nikolopol.
Residential buildings and power lines were damaged in the city, and damage information is still being updated.
A total of 13 Russian drones attacked several Ukrainian regions last night, reported in "Telegram" the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Mykola Oleschuk.
Ten of them were intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses over Kharkiv, Sumy and Kyiv regions, he added, without specifying what happened to the other three drones.
The Russian military said early this morning that it had destroyed 18 projectiles fired by Ukraine's "Vampire" against Belgorod Region.
According to regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, one person was injured "by shrapnel" in this border region, which has become the target of numerous Ukrainian drone and artillery attacks.
Moscow has recently stepped up its massive strikes against Ukraine, especially since last week, portraying them as retaliation. They caused great damage to the civil infrastructure, more specifically to the electricity transmission network supplying Kharkiv, according to AFP.
