A man stabs three elderly women with a sharp object in the Swedish city of Westeros. The attacker was shot and detained by police, DPA reported, quoted by BTA, referring to the law enforcement agencies.
The man stabbed three women aged between 65 and 80 years old in the open air in the center of Westeros, about 100 kilometers west of the Swedish capital Stockholm. One is in a serious condition, and the other two have minor injuries.
The attacker was then shot and wounded by police officers. He was taken to hospital, and there are currently no details on his condition.
The police did not indicate any possible motives of the attacker.
