Russian air defense forces destroyed Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the Smolensk region that were trying to to attack an object of the thermal energy complex (TEK). A fire broke out due to falling debris.
This was announced by the governor of the Smolensk region, Vasily Anokhin, on his Telegram channel.
„Today at around 02:00 in the Kardimovsky region, there was an attempt to attack an object of the fuel and energy complex, but as a result, the plane was shot down, and the falling debris ignited a container with fuel oil,”, he wrote.

According to the governor, firefighters from the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working at the site of the fuel and energy complex.
„The information about the damage is being clarified”, Anokhin added, „Special services and the competent authorities are investigating this situation”.
Air defense (ADF) and radio electronic warfare (ERW) systems suppressed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Ryazan region.
This was announced by regional governor Pavel Malkov on his Telegram channel.
„This evening, UAVs were suppressed by anti-aircraft defense and radio electronic warfare systems over the territory of the Ryazan region,”, he wrote.
Malkov added that according to preliminary information, there were no casualties and no material damage.
