The authorities in Lipetsk decided to undertake the evacuation of the population after an unmanned aerial vehicle fell in the industrial zone of the city, TASS reported.
This was announced by the head of the region Igor Artamonov.
"The criminal Ukrainian regime tried to hit the infrastructure in the industrial zone of Lipetsk. The site is isolated, there is no danger of an attack on the railway station. It was decided not to activate the warning systems in the city and to evacuate only the area where the UAV fell, he wrote.
The authorities are asking residents not to post photos and videos of the aftermath of the attack - “they help the enemy correct direction and accuracy.“
Air defense forces shot down an aircraft drone in the suburbs of Voronezh. After the debris fell from the UAV, a private house caught fire. This was announced in his Telegram channel by the head of the region Alexander Gusev.
„Air defense forces on duty in the suburbs of Voronezh have found and destroyed another UAV aircraft, as a result of falling debris, a residential block caught fire. "According to preliminary information, there were no injuries," he said.
The head of the area specified that the Emergency Service is already on the scene, and the fire is localized. The danger of drone attacks in the Voronezh region remains.
Earlier, Gusev announced the destruction of three UAVs, one of which was shot down on the approach to Voronezh.
