North Korea criticizes US for supplying long-range missiles to Ukraine , Reuters reported, citing a statement by the North Korean Ministry of Defense, quoted by the state news agency KCTA and BTA.
On April 24, a US official said that in recent weeks Washington had secretly delivered long-range missiles to Ukraine to use to repel a Russian invasion.
"The United States has secretly supplied long-range missiles to Ukraine, which has caused the anxiety and concern of the international community,", the director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of National Defense of North Korea said yesterday. They "will never be able to defeat the heroic Russian army and people with any latest weaponry or military support," added the North Korean representative.
Military ties between Pyongyang and Moscow are strengthening, which the US and its allies see as an escalation of tensions on the Korean Peninsula, Reuters notes.
