One of the several drones sent to the area hit a car in the village of Oktyabarski, and a woman in the car died on the spot, and her young son died of his wounds after being taken to hospital. The father of the child and the driver of the car were injured but survived, added the governor.
Several settlements in the Belgorod region were attacked by kamikaze drones, Gladkov specified, quoted by TASS.
The Russian-appointed governor of the Crimean port city of Sevastopol, annexed by Moscow in 2014, said air defense units had intercepted several Ukrainian drones over the city. Governor Mihail Razvozhaev wrote in "Telegram" that there was no damage, Reuters points out.
