Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will travel to Italy in June, to attend the G-7 summit, the Bloomberg agency reported, citing its source.
It is noted that Zelensky intends to participate in the meeting of G7 leaders to push them to provide additional aid to Kiev. The office of the Ukrainian president told the publication that his schedule for June has not yet been finalized and could not confirm a possible trip.
The G7 meeting will be held in Italy from June 13 to 15. US President Joe Biden is expected to attend. The American plan to use the frozen assets of the Russian Federation to provide aid to Ukraine will also be discussed at the meeting.
