Fourteen people were injured in a bus crash after it collided head-on with a car in the northern German city of Wismar. reported DPA, quoted by BTA, referring to a police announcement from this morning.
The 35-year-old driver of the car is in critical condition, while a 31-year-old bus passenger is seriously injured, the police report added.
According to the initial version, the two vehicles collided after the car entered oncoming traffic, although the reason for this is still unclear, DPA explains.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital by helicopter. The seriously injured passenger, as well as the bus driver, who has minor injuries, are also in hospital. Three passengers from the flight suffered relatively serious injuries, while eight were slightly injured, the police said.
