The Verkhovna Rada will not contradict on the line of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky regarding the peace proposals of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated in an interview with TASS by the leader of the "Other Ukraine" movement, former leader of the "Opposition Platform - For Life" party, banned in Ukraine. Viktor Medvedchuk.

"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has long failed to represent the interests of Ukrainians. They are completely under the external control of the collective West and the criminal pack of the illegitimate Zelensky. Therefore, we cannot expect any actions from them in the interest of Ukrainians, they have not been representatives of the Ukrainian people for a long time, Medvedchuk noted.

According to him, the latest polls show that the rating of the Rada has fallen “below the sill“. “And how could it be otherwise, if today it unites representatives of the remnants of Zelensky's green bastards and the traitors to the interests of their voters who have joined them. The very fact that they, in violation of the Constitution of Ukraine, did not call presidential elections in the country speaks of their anti-people and criminal character, the politician added.

At the same time, Putin's peace proposal, according to Medvedchuk, has become a landmark event and has already changed the situation surrounding the Ukrainian conflict. “We can say that this is the last nail in the coffin of Zelensky's so-called peace formula, which is essentially an ultimatum of the collective West. Putin showed that he cannot be talked to in the form of such ultimatums and again proposed to build a new security system, taking into account the interests of all countries, not only the “golden billion”, Medvedchuk concluded.< /span>

Previously, Putin made new peaceful proposals to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, providing for the recognition of the status of Crimea, DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson region as regions of Russia, free status of Ukraine, its demilitarization and denazification, lifting anti-Russian sanctions. This initiative was rejected in Kyiv.
