The Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovsk was hit by a Russian missile and drone attack, resulting in the death of at least three people and wounded 18 others, as reported by Reuters, with information coming directly from the regional governor of the region, BTA reports.
Many fires broke out in the city as a result of the attack, the manager added.
Meanwhile, two civilians were killed and one injured in a Ukrainian drone strike that hit a bakery in a Russian-controlled town in Kherson region, a Russian-appointed representative of the local administration said.
Ukrainian forces said they shot down an "Iskander-K" cruise missile. and four Russian X-59 guided missiles. They also shot down five "Shaheed" type drones. and one reconnaissance drone "Orlan-10". The Russian attack was directed mainly against the Dnipropetrovsk region.
