The corvette “Sovershenniy&ldquo ; of the Pacific Fleet of Russia has conducted, together with warships of the Chinese Navy, exercises to search for a suspicious ship during a joint patrol in the Philippine Sea, TASS reported, quoted by BTA.
„Corvette „Sovershenniy“ from the Pacific Fleet together with a detachment of combat ships of the Naval Forces of the People's Liberation Army of China in the composition of the destroyer “Yinchuan“, the frigate “Hongshui“ and the universal transport and supply ship “Weishanhu“ conducted exercises to search for a suspicious vessel during a joint naval patrol in the waters of the Philippine Sea.
During the search for the suspicious vessel, Russian and Chinese military sailors worked out an algorithm for joint actions of search groups”, the press service of the Eastern Military District of Russia reported.
Reuters reports that no details have been released about the “dubious court”.
