From today: Tolls in Serbia increase by 10%

Toll payment through electronic devices provides a 10 percent discount for all individuals and legal entities, owners of vehicles with the "EURO 6" standard

From today the price the toll in Serbia is 10 percent higher, Tanjug reported, quoted by BTA.

The price of the toll from the capital Belgrade to Šid will cost 500 dinars (8.35 BGN) instead of the previous 450 dinars (7.51 BGN). The fee from Obrenovac to Preline is also increased by 50 dinars – instead of 510 dinars it will be 560. The road from Belgrade to Subotica becomes more expensive by 70 dinars and will cost 800 (13.36 leva) instead of 730 dinars (12.19 leva).

The new price of the toll from Belgrade to Nis is now 1130 dinars, which means it increases by 110 dinars. From Belgrade to Dimitrovgrad (Tsaribrod) the price rises by 160 dinars and instead of 1510 dinars (25.22 BGN), drivers will pay 1670 dinars (27.89 BGN).

Tolls from Belgrade to Batocice will also increase in price by 50 dinars each, with the new price being 500 dinars. From Belgrade to Varbasa, 470 dinars will be paid instead of 420 dinars.

The decision on the amount of fees for the use of public roads, adopted by the state company “Roads of Serbia”, states that the payment of the toll through electronic devices provides a 10 percent reduction for all individuals and legal entities, owners of a motor vehicle with the “EURO 6” standard. The reduction will be applied after 30 days from the day of publication of the decision due to the necessary technical settings of the toll payment system.
