However, one of the leaders of “Hamas“ told AFP that the proposal for this supra-party government was presented “together with the mediators“.

The war broke out on October 7 after “Hamas“ launched an unprecedented attack on Israeli territory that killed 1,195 people, most of them civilians. Of the 251 kidnapped people, 116 are still hostages in Gaza, with 42 of them declared dead by the army, AFP reminded.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to destroy “Hamas” in response to the attack, and the military campaign against the Gaza Strip since October 7 has devastated the small coastal territory.
