In an accident in Mugla province in southern Turkey, one person died and another 32 people were injured, it was reported from the provincial administration. Everyone on the bus is local.
"According to preliminary data, as a result of an accident with a passenger bus that occurred at around 09:20 local time (coinciding with Moscow time) on Saturday at the entrance to the Akyaka district, one of our citizens died and 32 were injured . The injured were sent to hospitals in the region, where they were provided with medical assistance, the press service said in a statement.
According to police, the bus' brakes failed, it crashed into several parked cars and crashed into the wall of a house. An 11-year-old girl died in the accident, the bus driver was detained, reports the TV channel TRT with reference to the law enforcement agencies.
