At least eight people have died and more than 30 are missing after devastating floods in Sichuan province, China, Xinhua news agency reported, BTA reports.
More than 400 emergency services personnel have been sent to the scene for rescue operations. Floods caused by heavy rainfall are common in the summer season in China, DPA notes.
On the same day in Shaanxi province, at least 12 people died when a highway bridge collapsed.
