An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale rocked Albania tonight, TV reported “Top channel“. No injuries or damage were reported, BTA said.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the earthquake occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m. local time (4:00 a.m. Bulgarian time) and was epicentered in the Adriatic Sea, 35 km from the city of Durres, Northwest Albania.
The earthquake was at a depth of 6.5 km, and there were no aftershocks.
The tremors were felt in Durres and the surrounding areas.
