According to preliminary information, 100 people were injured in the railway accident that occurred on July 29 near Volgograd, Russia, when a train collided with a truck and derailed, the newspaper "Izvestia" reported, citing on Telegram channel 112, quoted by BTA.
The TASS agency reports that eight wagons have turned around.
Other Russian media indicate that the number of injured is still being determined.
The Ministry of Emergencies of Russia has sent two Mi-8 helicopters to the scene of the accident. The victims were evacuated, 324 people and 109 pieces of equipment were involved in liquidating the consequences. The truck driver was hospitalized.
