British police said today they have charged a 17-year-old in connection with the stabbing attack in Southport that claimed the lives of three little girls, the Associated Press reported.
Police said the teenager, who has not been named because of his age, has been charged with the murder of three people and the attempted murder of 10.
The attack took place during a summer dance and yoga class.
The accused will appear in court in Liverpool later today.
