Magnitude 4 earthquake at a depth of 13 kilometers was recorded in the eastern Aegean Sea at 10:25 a.m. on Wednesday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reported, as cited by Focus.
The epicenter of the quake is 130 kilometers west-northwest of the Turkish coastal city of Izmir and 7 kilometers south-southeast of the town of Eresos on the Greek island of Samos.
There are currently no reports of casualties or property damage.
