Ukraine was forced to shut down several nuclear power units from the grid after a new Russian missile and drone attack today, the Ukrainian mission to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported, as cited by Reuters and BTA.
The IAEA has been notified that Russia continues to attack Ukraine's energy infrastructure with the aim of disrupting the operation of its nuclear power plants, which poses a serious threat to their stable operation, the mission stressed.
