When you look for your seat on the plane and notice that after the 12th row comes the 14th, don't be surprised, everything is as it should be.
This is what Bulgarian pilot Mario Bakalov* writes on Facebook.
In most European and American airlines, the 13th row does not exist because it is believed to be a fatal number that brings bad luck. Most passengers are already under stress and/or have a fear of flying anyway, no need for extra stress.
As you continue to the other rows, you will notice that in the planes of "Lufthansa" (Lufthansa) is also missing one more row, this is row 17. The number 17 also brings bad luck, at least that's what people think in Italy and Brazil, for example, and that's why it's not used here.
And a 2017 study found that plane tickets were cheaper on Friday the 13th, by an average of 16%. Thus the superstition of some becomes in favor of others.
PS: Chinese airlines often miss line 4 as it is considered a fatal number associated with death.
