Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that his "victory plan", which he wants to present to US President Joe Biden this month, will strengthen Kiev's position and have a " ;psychologically" an effect that could make Russia end the war by diplomatic means, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
In his speech at the annual "Crimean Platform" in Kiev, Zelensky said it was important for Ukraine to present the plan to its allies before the second international peace summit, which he wants to hold later this year.
"If the partners support it (the plan), it will make it easier for Ukraine to force Russia to end the war," said the Ukrainian president.
"What is this plan for? This is a serious strengthening of Ukraine, and I think it will have both a psychological and a political effect on Russia's decision to end this war," he said.
Zelensky first spoke about the plan last month, saying he wanted to discuss it with Biden and his two potential successors after the US presidential election in November.
