The operational situation in the Kursk region of the Russian federation is dynamic. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have taken control of the settlements of Vetreno, Durovka and part of Zhuravka. In turn, the Russians in the area resisted at Snagost with the surrounding villages and advanced towards Lyubimovka.

This was announced on the evening of September 14 in Telegram by the analytical project DeepState, FOCUS agency writes. In addition, the Russians have taken control of Galitsinovka in the Donetsk region.

Also, Russian troops have managed to advance near Grigorovka, Ostrogo, Georgievka, New York and the Ukrainian Donetsk region. In addition, Russian troops were successful at Sinkovka and at Peschanoe in the Kharkiv region.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces advance in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The armed forces of Ukraine have entered another area of the district. At the same time, the activity of the Russian troops was also observed there. ISW analysts note that it is not yet clear whether Russia has enough troops needed to push the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of Kursk Oblast or to defend against new counterattacks.

According to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, Russia's Kursk region is an integral part of the victorious plan to end the war. At the same time, the Kremlin admits that the fighting in the Kursk region can drag on for months.
