The performance took place live in "X space". There, Trump engaged in a wide-ranging discussion that affected
the second assassination attempt on him on Sunday and his transition from a skeptic of cryptocurrencies to someone interested in them.
The business is called World Liberty Financial. It is not clear how it was created, how it is financed and what services it will provide.
It is unusual for a presidential candidate to launch a new business initiative so close to an election, but Trump is trying to woo digital asset backers and their dollars before Election Day on Nov. 5.
In the past, Trump has derided cryptocurrencies as a scam. But during his re-election campaign, he began embracing digital assets and promised to make the US the "crypto capital of the planet" with light regulations and a national supply of Bitcoin.
Trump's two oldest sons, Eric and Donald Jr., have promoted the project in recent weeks, promising it would transform the world of digital asset financing, without elaborating.
