Former US President Donald Trump said yesterday that "likely“ will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who will be in the US next week to speak at a UN Security Council meeting about Russia's war in his country, Reuters reported, citing BTA.
"Probably, yes”, Trump said when asked if he would meet with the Ukrainian leader next week. Trump did not provide further details.
In recent months, some other world leaders who visited the US for summits and meetings with President Joe Biden ended up meeting Trump as well, Reuters noted. The Republican presidential nominee will face Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris in the Nov. 5 election.
