Turkish airstrikes in northern Iraq today destroyed 24 targets of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) , the Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement, adding that many fighters had been "neutralized” during the attack, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
Ankara usually uses the term "neutralized“ in the sense of killed.
The operations targeted PKK caves, warehouses and bases in the areas of Hakurk, Gara, Qandil and Assos, the ministry said.
