Trump: I'm worried about my family's safety - 1

Former American leader and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who was the subject of two assassination attempts within two months, admitted that he was worried about the lives of his family members.

„I don't usually talk about it. But yes, I have to worry about my family,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News on Saturday. His aides' concerns are caused by the “dangerous and vile rhetoric of Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party.“

Trump was shot on July 13 at a campaign rally in Butler County (Pennsylvania). The contender for the highest state office from the Republican Party of the USA was slightly wounded in the ear. The shooter, 20-year-old American Thomas Matthew Crooks, was killed by Secret Service agents. The US Federal Bureau of Investigation has confirmed that the incident is believed to be an attempted assassination of Trump.

On September 15, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced a new investigation into a shooting at the Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida, where Trump was staying. The incident is being treated as a possible assassination attempt. Palm Beach County Sheriff Rick Bradshaw said at the time that an AK-47 assault rifle with a telescopic sight, two backpacks with ceramic plates and an action camera were found in bushes near the golf club where the gunman was trying to hide. The suspect, 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Root, was taken into custody.
