NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said the victory plan to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is a good signal, but he cannot support it in general at the current stage, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
"This, of course, is a strong signal from Zelensky and his team that they have developed this plan... This does not mean that here I can say that I support the whole plan, that would be a bit difficult , because there are many questions that we need to understand better," he said.
Zelensky rejected the idea of ceding territory to Russia or accepting a front-line freeze. He invited the West to invite Ukraine to join NATO. Kiev and its allies must "force Russia to participate in a high-level peace meeting and be ready to end the war," Zelensky added.
The victory plan presented by Zelensky to the Ukrainian parliament will be included for discussion in the agenda of the NATO meeting at the ministerial level, which starts tomorrow in Brussels, added the secretary general of the alliance, quoted by France Presse.
"It will be on the agenda (...) when our NATO-Ukraine meeting takes place on Thursday evening,'' Rutte told a news conference, referring to the plan, which rules out any territorial concessions to Russia .
