Israeli military registered on Sunday the firing of about 90 rockets by fighters of the Shiite Hezbollah movement from Lebanon to Israel, the press service of the army announced.

"The army will continue to protect Israel and its people from the threats coming from the terrorist organization Hezbollah," the statement added.

The Israeli army carried out new attacks, storming several cities in the West Bank. This was reported by the Qatari television channel Al Jazeera.

According to the media, the soldiers used tear gas during an attack on the Al-Arub refugee camp, located north of Hebron, which resulted in several injuries. In Jenin, the military raided shops and detained several youths. The troops stormed the cities of Jericho, Jifna and Salfit, raiding the houses of local residents.

The Israel Defense Forces attack refugee camps in the northern and central Gaza Strip.

They attacked with the help of aviation and artillery the Palestinian refugee camp Beit Lahiya, located in the northern part of the enclave. Attacks were also carried out against the Nuseirat camp in the central part of the Gaza Strip and the Shujaya area, located in the eastern part of Gaza City.

Al Jazeera reported that in the last 24 hours at least 46 people were killed as a result of strikes by the Israeli army on settlements located in the northern part of the region.

The main solution to the Middle East conflict remains the creation of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital. Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboun announced this on Sunday in Cairo during a press conference with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al Sisi.

„Algeria is sparing no effort within the UN Security Council to put an end to the genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinians”, the Ennahar Online news portal quoted the head of state as saying.

„Our position has never changed and will never change because the main solution to the conflict remains the creation of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital,“ Tebbun continued.

He noted "the resilience of the residents of the Gaza Strip in the face of the real genocide committed by the Israeli occupiers". The Algerian leader also welcomed the initiative of al-Sisi, who proposed a two-day ceasefire in the Palestinian enclave and the release of several hostages.

Algeria holds a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council and pays increased attention to the situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone and in Lebanon.

Meanwhile, it became clear that Iran had received information about a possible Israeli attack on the country the evening before the attacks. This was announced by the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Aragchi.

„From the evening before the attack, we received signals about the possibility of an attack, which convinced us that there would be one. There was an exchange of messages with various countries and before the attack we took measures that should have been taken in this regard,”, the agency quoted him as saying agency Mehr.

Aragchi also stressed that Iran will respond to Israel in due course.
